Dr Robin Hudson, MBBS, FRCGP, MFSEM(UK), DIMC RCSEd

Studied medicine at Newcastle before qualifying in 1993. Dr Hudson joined the practice recently after being a partner for 15 years in a practice in the Tyne Valley. He has previously worked as GP trainer and tutor and is currently senior race medical officer at Newcastle Gosforth Park racecourse.
Dr Hudson's interests include palliative care and sports medicine.

Dr. Nigel Twelves MB BS DCH DRCOG MRCGP DipOccMed

Qualified Newcastle 1988 and joined the practice in 1994.
A GP trainer in the practice with special interest in child health, palliative care and musculoskeletal medicine. A qualified Occupational Health Physician and appointed DVLA medical examiner.

Dr. Matthew Thomas BMedSci(Hons) MB BS MRCGP DTher Doccmed

Matt qualified from Newcastle University in 2000. He did his final training post as a GP Regisrar at the practice in 2004. He has been a Partner here since 2010. He has undertaken postgraduate diplomas in Therapeutics and Occupational Medicine. He takes a lead role in medicines optimisation and research at the practice.

Dr. Hannah Brown MB BS MRCGP DRCOG DFFP

Hannah studied Medicine at Newcastle University, graduating in 2000. She then worked in acute and general medicine in hospitals in the North East for four years before deciding to train in general practice. She has subsequently worked in several practices in Northumberland and Sunderland, including working as a registrar at Ponteland Medical Group. Upon completion of her GP training in 2006, she joined the organisation as a salaried GP, becoming the Executive GP after Ponteland Medical Group joined NPC.
Her specialist clinical interests include child health and development, women's health and mental health. She is Ponteland Medical Group's lead for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and she is actively involved in training GP registrars.

Dr. Ruth Chalton BMedSci(Hons) MB BS MRCP MRCGP

Qualified Newcastle 2001 and joined the practice in 2008 having previously been a Registrar in the organisation.

Dr Rachel Taylor MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DCH

Qualified from Newcastle University 1995. Gp training on the Northern Training Scheme. Woked in practices within the North East since completign training.

Dr Lily Lamb MRCGP MBBS PGCert ClinEd

Qualified from Newcastle University in 2007 and spent her years as a junior doctor working for Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust. She undertook training in General Practice in the Northern Deanery and was a registrar at Ponteland Medical Group. Her areas of interest are in medical education, child health, gastroenterology and dermatology.

Dr Juliet Reid, MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP

Studied medicine at Newcastle University graduating in 1995. Worked in hospital paediatrics before deciding to train as a GP. Trained as a GP on the Northumbria VTS and then had a brief spell working in Psychaitry in Christchurch, New Zealand. Joined Ponteland Medical Group in January 2016.
Special Interests: Palliative Care, child health and mental health.
Dr Alys Dean – MBCHB MRCGP DFSRH

Qualified from Glasgow University in 2011 and joined the practice in 2020 having previously worked as a GP in Scotland.
