Improving our clinical system
What it means to you
We have recently changed our clinical system to one that is used widely across other local healthcare services. This new system will help improve how our healthcare professionals share important information to benefit your care.
Online booking system – If you are already registered with our online booking service for appointments and repeat prescriptions, you do not need to re-register. However as this is a different system, you will need new log-in details – please request these now by contacting the surgery either in person or by telephone.
Please note the new log-in details won’t be automatically issued, you will need to contact us to request these.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Please be advised, in order to improve access and ensure the best use of our service, from December, the reception team will be navigating patients to the most appropriate appointment. This may mean patients will be able to book a face to face appointment for same day medical contact with one of our Nurse Practitioner rather than need a phone call.
For any of the below, you will be advised to seek Pharmacy advice in the first instance:
Sickness/ Diahorrea (unless more than 72 hours)
Constipation
Sore eyes – No loss of vision
Sticky / itchy eyes
Conjunctivitis
Sore throat
Cold/ Flu like symptoms
Hayfever / allergy

Chicken Pox
Sunburn
Sleeping problems
Athlete’s foot
Your support and cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Could this also be updated on ‘appointments’ page under ‘calling for an appointment’ and ‘book-on-day and urgent services’. And could we put a link to this on the front page as well as on social media please?
Thank you
